How to Use the Outlook Integration in Brelly

Work with Outlook email, calendar, contacts, and tasks in Brelly Co-Pilot, including draft-and-review sending, event scheduling, mailbox organization, and follow-up work.

If your team uses Microsoft Outlook, Brelly Co-Pilot can help you work with email, calendars, contacts, and follow-up tasks without constantly switching tabs.

That can include finding the right message, drafting a response, scheduling an event, organizing folders, and setting up the next action.

Before You Start

Before using Outlook in Brelly:

  • Make Sure Outlook Is Enabled For Your Workspace

  • Make Sure Your Microsoft Account Is Connected In SettingsIntegrations

  • Open The Claim Or Workflow You Are Working On If The Outlook Task Is Claim-Related

If you do not see Outlook in Integrations, ask your workspace admin for help.

How To Use Outlook With Co-Pilot

To use Outlook in Brelly:

  1. Open The Claim Or Workflow You Are Working On

  2. Open Co-Pilot

  3. Ask Co-Pilot For A Specific Outlook Task

  4. Review The Result Or The Draft It Prepared

  5. Approve The Send Step If Brelly Shows A Review Panel

For example, you might ask Co-Pilot to:

  • Find The Last Email From A Carrier Or Policyholder

  • Draft An Update About Claim Status

  • Prepare A Reply To An Existing Thread

  • Schedule A Follow-Up Event

  • Create A Task To Remind You About Next Steps

  • Move Messages Into A Specific Folder

Sending Still Needs Your Review

If Co-Pilot prepares a new Outlook email or a reply, Brelly still gives you a chance to review it before anything is sent.

You should still:

  • Confirm The Recipient

  • Check The Message Wording

  • Review Any Attachments

  • Make Edits If Needed

  • Click Send In The Review Panel If You Want It To Go Out

This matters because drafting a message and sending a message are separate steps.
